Cosmic Ghost Rider is a Marvel Comics character, a twisted amalgamation of Frank Castle, the Punisher, and the cosmic powers of Ghost Rider and the Silver Surfer. He's a product of the Modern Age, first appearing in Thanos #13 (2017).

Frank Castle, having died during a battle, found himself in Hell. He made a deal with Mephisto to become the Ghost Rider, seeking vengeance on those who wronged him in life. However, the Earth was destroyed by Thanos, leaving him aimless until Galactus offered him the Power Cosmic to become his herald.

Now possessing the powers of the Ghost Rider and the Power Cosmic, Castle became the Cosmic Ghost Rider. Driven mad by his past and his new powers, he is a volatile and unpredictable figure, often enacting his brand of violent justice across the universe.
